Punta de Mita isn’t a single place — it’s fifteen miles of coastline that contains multitudes. At one end, the 1,500-acre gated peninsula where the Four Seasons and St. Regis anchor estates that run to $32 million and a tasting menu from the World’s Best Female Chef costs $200 a head. At the other, the working fishing beach at El Anclote, where the pangas come in at dawn and the same fish lands on a plastic plate for the price of a coffee back home. That contrast isn’t a flaw. Our office is in the village, outside the gates, and that’s deliberate.
